EuroGEO Webinar 2020

EuroGEO Webinar 2020

EuroGEOSS is the European regional initiative of the Group on Earth Observation (GEO), a worldwide network working to build a Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS), that aims to improve user uptake of Earth Observation data and improve forecasting capabilities for sound decision-making by governments for Europe’s benefit. Since 2007, EuroGEOSS have been hosting an annual workshop to bring together European stakeholders interested in and actively contributing to the GEOSS. The event is a forum to exchange ideas and inform participants about work and initiatives undertaken in the context of GEOSS. The 14th edition of the EuroGEO workshop, scheduled for 8-10 June 2020 in Paris, has been postponed to 2021 due to the current global health situation. However, 14th edition organisers will still host a virtual event on 8 June 2020 (agenda) to bring the community together before the GEO Plenary 2020 to be held in South Africa on 2 - 6 November. More information about the June 8th event will be soon available on the website. Registration can be done here. For further information/question, please contact EuroGEOSS workshop's Organising Committee: EASME-GEPW@ec.europa.eu.
