Portal Ciência Açores showcases the region's scientific ecosystem

The Autonomous Azores Region has launched the Portal Ciência Açores, a new platform developed to centralise all relevant information on science, innovation and development in the Autonomous Region of the Azores. The platform aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the region’s research ecosystem in a single, accessible space.
As an organisation actively engaged in research, technological development, knowledge transfer and science literacy in the region, the AIR Centre is represented on the platform alongside other key regional stakeholders.
The Portal Ciência Açores offers users with clear information on the regional R&I community, including research institutions, scientific infrastructures and areas of expertise. It also provides access to relevant legislation and funding opportunities tailored to the regional context. In addition, the platform highlights available services and showcases projects, initiatives and measures that support innovation, sustainable development and scientific literacy across the archipelago. By consolidating this information, Ciência Açores strengthens visibility, coordination and knowledge sharing within the regional scientific community and beyond.
