The participation centered around a presentation delivered by Mariana Ávila, integrated into the conference "Digital Future in Agri-Food Sector Organizations" on September 10. The session highlighted the "Vinhas de Santa Maria e da Terceira" project, implemented within the framework of SFT-EDIH - Digital Innovation Hub for the Agri-Food Sector, of which AIR Centre is a partner.
The project represents a significant advancement in precision viticulture, leveraging digital technologies to optimize vineyard management across the Azores islands. Implemented through the SFT-EDIH Digital Innovation Hub, the initiative demonstrates the practical application of Industry 4.0 technologies in agricultural settings.

El 15 de julio de 2026, el Centro AIR participó en la visita oficial del ministro de Sanidad de Brasil, Alexandre Padilha, con motivo de la inauguración oficial de la oficina de la Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) en Lisboa.
