Azores and AIR Centre Host the Atlantic Aquaculture Forum 2024

The AIR Centre is organizing the Atlantic Aquaculture Forum to be held in Terceira and Faial Islands (Azores, Portugal), on the 14-15 October 2024, in cooperation with the Regional Government of the Azores and Escola do Mar. The goal is to share experience between stakeholders from the innovation and economic sectors, promoting the development of this important area of blue economy, among the Atlantic countries. Meeting with the Hon Consul‑General of the Kingdom of Tonga strengthens dialogue on ocean science and climate cooperation

The discussion brought together AIR Centre Executive Director Miguel Miranda, Deputy Executive Director Mafalda Carapuço, and researcher Ana Faria, marking the beginning of a promising dialogue between the two nations.
