SENAI CIMATEC opens international call for 2 Postdoctoral Researcher positions

The Brazilian centre of innovative technologies SENAI CIMATEC is announcing 2 Postdoctoral Researcher open positions in the areas of Artificial/computational intelligence and data science for industry, starting in May 2025, in Brazil. These opportunities are part of the H4I – Hub of New Digital Technologies for Industry project. This initiative aims to modernize Brazilian Technology industry by creating a data science and AI platform to optimize technologies. The platform will promote collaboration between researchers, companies and students and will promote the utilization of AI in Brazil. Recognized by its investments in Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I), this leading institution is conducting projects in automation, biotechnology, nanotechnology and renewable energies sectors, driving Brazilian technology industry. In addition, it seeks to increase competitiveness across industries through strategic international partnerships. The centre is offering a unique opportunity of a monthly grant, awarded for 48 months, with continuity assessed every 12 months. The admission criteria require academic training at undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as professional performance in the areas of interest of the call for proposals, scientific publications and technological production. To be eligible you must fulfil the following requirements: PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields; experience in interdisciplinary projects; expertise in scientific and high-performance computing; ability to work independently and in a team; proficiency in written and spoken English.
