The MBON secretariat, hosted by the AIR Centre, could not be more pleased at this nomination, which recognises Dr. Muller-Karger for extraordinary endowment and leadership in furthering our understanding of Earth and, in particular, the ocean, through the use of remote sensing and field work. His achievements will be celebrated during The Oceanography Society’s Honors Breakfast taking place on February 21, 2024, during the Ocean Sciences Meeting.
